Vaultys Releases Its Self-Sovereign Identity Solution as Open Source Following an Audit by Almond / Amossys
Sèvres / Haguenau, March 26, 2025. Vaultys, a company specializing in cybersecurity and digital identity, announces the open-source release of its decentralized identity solution, VaultysID. This strategic and innovative initiative follows a security audit conducted by Amossys, a company within the Almond Group that is recognized and accredited by ANSSI (the French National Cybersecurity Agency).
In a context where digital sovereignty and personal data protection are critical issues, VaultysID offers a strong, password-free authenticator powered by decentralized cryptographic technologies. This combination enables enhanced authentication while providing users and organizations with reliable, transparent, and independent management of their digital identities.
Designed to meet the most stringent cybersecurity requirements, this solution is based on advanced technologies and complies with international standards.
By making its code available to the community, Vaultys fosters collaborative innovation and encourages contributions from developers and cybersecurity experts to continuously improve the solution.
To demonstrate the robustness of its solution, Vaultys enlisted Amossys to conduct an audit of the authentication protocol.
A member of the Almond Group and a specialist in strategic sectors, Amossys is, among other things, an Information Technology Security Assessment Center (CESTI) accredited by ANSSI and an Information Systems Security Audit Provider qualified by ANSSI for national security purposes (PASSI RGS–LPM).
With this open-source release, Vaultys is taking another step toward a digital identity that is more secure, transparent, and accessible to everyone.

It is rare for a software provider like Vaultys to publish an audit report of this kind, and we are pleased to contribute to the security of sovereign digital identification technologies and, more broadly, to support startups and innovative companies in improving their solutions.”
Alexandre Deloup, Directeur du SEAL
“The open-source release of our solution marks a key milestone in our commitment to a safer, more privacy-friendly Internet. Since the advent of AI, cyber risks have increased significantly, and we are proud to contribute an open-source building block to help organizations better protect themselves. The audit conducted by Amossys ensures a high level of security and reliability and strengthens trust within the ecosystem.”
