My background

After spending two years at INPT, an engineering school in Morocco, I had the opportunity to do an exchange year at Télécom Paristech, with a double major in Networks (RES) and Network and IT Infrastructure Security (SR2I) to validate my engineering degree. After a 6-month internship and a short experience in the SOC, I decided to do a master’s degree in network and systems architecture at Paris Saclay University.

I joined Almond in March 2018, to make an end-of-studies internship. The aim of my internship was to carry out a functional and technical study of the various modules of a solution and access management solution, and then to implement this process in a mock-up environment. At the end of my internship, I took a few months’ vacation, then joined Almond’s Infrastructure Security team in October 2018.

My missions

My first assignment was with a pharmaceutical laboratory. I worked as an ISS engineer in the operational security team. During this assignment I was involved in maintaining the security infrastructure in operational condition, helping customers to qualify their needs, responding to security incidents and working on projects to upgrade the security infrastructure.

This was a highly formative assignment, given the diversity of the activities to be carried out and the range of security equipment to be operated. The international aspect of this assignment was also very enjoyable, as I was in daily contact with IT staff from all the international subsidiaries.

My current assignment is with a bank. The aim of this assignment is to help the customer choose the right data leakage prevention solution, set up rules for detecting sensitive data on the chosen solution and on Microsoft’s CASB, and analyze the alerts linked to these rules.

My daily routine at Almond

On a professional level, we learn a lot at Almond, whether through daily exchanges with consultants, through articles and feedback on various subjects shared on our Knowledge Management base, or through technical workshops.

Almond also organizes events to share convivial moments, such as integration evenings, afterworks, board game evenings, the Ski Weekend…
