My background
I’m an engineer who graduated in 2017 from the Faculty of Science and Technology in Morocco, specializing in Telecoms. After graduating, I joined Alten Marocco to work as a project planning consultant. For over 2 years, I worked for a French car manufacturer. During this experience, I began to develop a particular interest in the IT sector, so I decided to continue my studies in France.
In 2021, I graduated from CentraleSupélec with a Specialized Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management. Thanks to this training, I was able to acquire the skills needed to enter the IT consulting sector.
I joined Almond in April 2021 to complete my final year internship, following which I was recruited on a permanent contract as a consultant in the Digital & Technology team, and more specifically in the Strategy, Governance & Transformation team.
My missions
Since joining Almond, I’ve mainly been involved in consulting missions, which has enabled me to gain an overview of a number of issues dealt with by IT Departments within SMEs / intermediate-sized companies.
My first mission was on behalf of a social landlord who wanted to modernize its information system. With a team consisting of a Partner and a Senior Consultant from the firm, we carried out an IS diagnosis and drew up the IS master plan for the next 3 years. This mission marked the beginning of my career in IT consulting, and enabled me to discover all the facets of a consulting mission.
Today, I continue to support our customers on various IT topics such as cloud, audit and IT roadmap construction. I also have the opportunity to actively participate in the development of our offerings, such as FinOps and Program Management.
My daily routine at Almond
Almond is a firm where you have the opportunity to learn new things every day. In fact, my team works on a variety of IT topics, which allows us to develop technical knowledge and an understanding of our customers’ sectors: luxury, banking, industry…
At the same time, there’s a great culture of knowledge sharing within the teams and across Almond. Every week, several presentations are organized: feedbacks, publisher presentations, technical topics…
Finally, Almond organizes events throughout the year to strengthen ties between consultants and foster an atmosphere of mutual support and caring within the firm.
